Navigating Parent Care with Confidence

Compassionate support for the journey you didn't expect to take

Caring for a parent brings unexpected challenges—tough conversations about independence, shifting family dynamics, and decisions that weigh heavily. This coaching program helps you navigate these transitions with clarity and confidence. Together, we'll address difficult topics, establish healthy boundaries, and create sustainable strategies that honor both your needs and your parent's dignity.

You're Not Alone in This

If you're reading this, you might be feeling the weight of responsibility in ways you never anticipated. Perhaps your parent is struggling with health challenges, resisting help, or facing decisions about where and how to live. Maybe you're caught between wanting to support them and preserving your own wellbeing. You might feel guilty, overwhelmed, or uncertain about what comes next.

These feelings are normal. This journey is one of the most complex transitions in life, and you don't have to navigate it alone.

I've walked in your shoes. I've navigated health changes and independent living transitions with my own parents, and I've supported many others through similar journeys.

I understand the emotional complexity, the practical challenges, and the deep love that underlies every difficult decision. This experience shapes how I work with clients—with empathy, realism, and a commitment to helping you find your way forward.

What We'll Work On ... Together

In our coaching sessions, we create space for both the emotional and practical dimensions of parent care.

You'll gain tools and perspective to:

  • Have honest, compassionate conversations with your parent about changing needs

  • Navigate family dynamics and differing opinions about care decisions

  • Set boundaries that protect your own health and relationships

  • Make informed decisions about living arrangements, medical care, and support systems

  • Manage guilt, grief, and the emotional complexity of role reversal

  • Develop a sustainable approach that works for both you and your parent

This isn't about having all the answers. It's about finding clarity in the midst of uncertainty, building confidence in your decisions, and remembering that caring for yourself is part of caring well for your parent.

Options

One-to-One Coaching

This is the most meaningful, personalized support and it's tailored to your unique situation. We'll work together to address your specific challenges, create actionable strategies, and build your confidence as you navigate this transition. Sessions provide a safe space to process emotions, explore options, and develop a clear path forward.

Community Workshops

Free workshops offered quarterly in partnership with community organizations, such as senior living centers. These sessions provide education, connection, and practical tools in a supportive group setting. Topics include communication strategies, understanding care options, and self-care for caregivers.

Community Events

Throughout the year, I host gatherings that bring together adult children caring for parents. These events offer opportunities to learn, share experiences, and build supportive connections with others who understand what you're going through.

Let's Talk About Your Situation

You didn't necessarily choose this role or this timing, but you can choose how you move through it. With the right support, you can approach parent care with greater ease, make decisions that feel right, and maintain your own wellbeing in the process.

This work isn't about perfection. It's about progress, compassion, and finding a sustainable way forward that honors everyone involved—including you.

I offer a free consultation to explore how coaching can support you. There's no pressure—just an opportunity to share what you're facing and discover whether we're a good fit to work together.

You're doing something incredibly important. Let me help you do it with more confidence and less burden.
